Power of our will

Hi friends, good morning to all of you. Before I write about the topic, I want to narrate a story, please do not think this is out of my imagination, it happened to me for sure.
One day, some eight months back, as I was stepping out of my house to go shopping, I heard a voice from outside my gate, calling out to me to go inside. Perplexed, I searched who it was, it was a kind security guard doing his rounds, who happened to see a cobra near my gate, warned me to avoid an encounter with it. I rushed in and closed the door.
As I stood watching from my front room window, the cobra moved towards my house and onto my porch, I pleaded with the security guard to call for help as I could not think of anything else.
He assured me that he had called for help and would wait till help arrived.

All the while I was fervently praying that the snake would go away or be caught.
As the snake Catcher came I heaved a sigh of relief that my prayers had been heard. He combed the entire area of my garden but the cobra was too fast for him.
Assured that there was help outside, I went out to get the contact numbers of the two kind gentlemen who offered to help me.
They repeatedly assured me that the cobra had left the premise of my house and if there was any other incident in future, they would be ready to help.

Now coming to the topic of this post, I think all my close friends know how scared I am of snakes and many other pests. It took a lot of will power to convince myself that I had to live my normal life in the midst of all these animals. Each time I stepped out the front door, I could see the cobra in my porch. But I could not shut myself inside because of this fear. I had to go about my regular duties. I put all my will to push these thoughts out and started living my normal life.
This only made me think of the power of our will, our mind. Our mind is very strong, any positive or negative vibe believed strongly by our mind always happens.
There may be many instances that have happened in your life too, but you may have forgotten due to the busy schedule of your lives. I want you to share such instances with me.

  4. Fear is a conditioned emotion. The more you fear, the more it develops! To be fearless, one has to break the shackles of those experiences hidden in our subconscious mind that cause fear and come to terms with it in person.Just deal with the fear and face it with a new confidence like you did!
